Norma Wittig

Broken Bow, NE- Norma H. Wittig age 79 of Broken Bow died Sunday May 2, 2010 at the Heritage Hall Nursing Home Broken Bow. Funeral services will be held Thursday May 6, 2010 at 10:30 AM in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Broken Bow with Rev. Roger Quandt officiating. Burial will be in the Ft. McPherson Cemetery at Maxwell, NE at 3:00 PM. Memorials have been established to the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or the Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Broken Bow. Visitation will be held Wednesday 8 AM to 8 PM with the family greeting friends 6 PM to 7 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary. Norma H. Wittig was born August 28, 1930 at Ravenna, NE to Arthur and Helene (Petersen) Busse. Norma attended school in Shickley, NE and graduated in 1948. She married Don Wittig on October 25, 1953 at Shickley, NE. Norma is survived by her husband Don Wittig of Broken Bow, daughter Karen Hahn of Ferndale, WA, a son Kevin (Janine) Wittig of Eden Prairie, MN, seven grandchildren; Sarah, Rachel, Leah, Hannah, Micah, Alexander, and Maxwell, a brother LeRoy (Nancy) Busse of Abilene, TX, and a sister in law Joanna Busse of Berwyn, NE. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Harvey.
