Ansley, NE- Bonnie B. Peterson age 73 of Ansley died Tuesday June 1, 2010 at the Jennie Melham Medical Center in Broken Bow. Funeral services will be held Friday June 4, 2010 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church in Ansley with Reverend Scott Harvey officiating. Burial will be in the Ansley Cemetery with Govier Bros. Mortuary of Broken Bow in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held Thursday 8 AM to 8 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary with the family greeting friends 5 PM to 7 PM. Memorials are to the Ansley Ladies American Legion Auxiliary. Bonnie Belle Peterson was born August 28, 1936 in the Happy Hollow Community between Ansley and Berwyn to Albert and Zelma (Staab) Ferguson. Bonnie was married to Leonard Peterson on March 14, 1954. Bonnie is survived by her husband Leonard of Ansley, sons Randy (Dixie) Peterson of Broken Bow, Gary (Dianna) Peterson of Broken Bow, daughters Karen (Tom) Schneider of Grand Island and Joan (Randy) Nelson of Ansley. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, a sister Hazel Hagler of Arnold, brothers Dick Ferguson of Cozad and Marvin (Sharon ) Ferguson of Litchfield Park, AZ, sister in law Bonnie Ferguson of Ansley, brother in law Alden (Susan) Peterson of Lincoln, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jim and Claris, sister in law Becky Ferguson, sister Helen, brother in law and sister in a law Loren and Alleen Johnson and son in law Randy Zimmerman.
