Mick Hickenbottom

Mick Hickenbottom age 64 of Ansley died June 4, 2010 at his home in Ansley. Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 9 at 10:0 a.m. at the Ansley Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Ragan officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the family greeting friend 5 Pm to 7 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow. Memorials are suggested to the Ansley EMT’s or the family. Interment will be at the Ansley Cemetery. He was born September 9, 1945 to Leonard and Goldie (Bellinger) Hickenbottom at Dunning, NE. In July 1972 he was married to Bonnie Reinke in Ansley. He enjoyed his sister Rosa Lee’s music, watching Yankee and Cub baseball games and Nebraska football games. He like going for rides out to the farm and going to coffee and visiting with his friends, and ranching. Mick worked at Becton Dickinson for 41 years when he became ill and retired. Mick is survived by his wife Bonnie of Ansley, one son Steve of Ansley, two sisters Rosa Lee and her husband Reed Hamilton of Thedford, NE and Betty Celesky of Waverly, NE. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Charles and two infant sisters Bonnie and Waneeta
