Lois Jean Aubuchon, 68
Lois Aubuchon of Arcadia, Nebraska died November 13, 2010, with her family by her side in Broken Bow, Nebraska.
Services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, November 18th, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Broken Bow; internment at Bellevue, Nebraska.
Lois was born October 15, 1942, in Bellevue to William and Dorothy Robinson. Her father was a farmer and worked at the stockyards while she was growing up. Her mother was a homemaker and took care of her and her five siblings. Her mother also worked hard cleaning homes for other women.
Lois graduated from Bellevue High School in 1960. She married her sweetheart, Al Aubuchon, in August 1960. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past summer.
Lois was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was passionate about genealogy and shared her knowledge with others.
She loved her family, and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter and sister.
She is survived by her husband, Alvin Aubuchon of Arcadia, NE; one son and his spouse, Scott and Neila Aubuchon of Sioux Falls, SD; three daughters and their spouses, Rita and Joseph Flores of Phoenix, AZ, Amy and Norman Sillivan of Arcadia, NE, and Dale Hawley of Hershey, NE; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Lou Voss of Bellevue, NE; brother, William Robinson of Clearwater, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Lee Robinson; two sisters, Ada Mae Nelson and Betty Ann Marsh; her son, Guy Aubuchon; and grandson, Lex Sillivan.
