Ruby McCandless

Ruby P. McCandless age 97 of Broken Bow died November 29, 2010 at the Jennie Melham Medical Center in Broken Bow. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday December 2, 2010 at the United Methodist Church in Broken Bow with Rev. Todd Karges officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Govier Bros. Mortuary with the family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Arnold Cemetery at Arnold, Nebraska. Memorials are suggested to the Ruby McCandless Memorial. Ruby was born June 7, 1913 at Weissert, NE to Milton and Mable (Govier) Peterson. She attended Weissert school. She was united in marriage to Roy McCandless at Julesburg, NE on December 22, 1932. Survivors include two children Eldon ( Connie) McCandless of Broken Bow and Joleen McCandless Linder of Broken Bow.
