Ansley, Nebraska- Theodore “Ted” Ostrand age 81 of Ansley died Friday December 10, 2010 at the Jennie Melham Medical Center in Broken Bow. Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 14, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Christian Life Center Church in Broken Bow with Reverend Mark Stones officiating. Burial will be in the Ansley Cemetery with Govier Bros. Mortuary of Broken Bow in charge of the arrangements. A register book can be signed on Monday 8 AM to 8 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow. Theodore “Ted” J. Ostrand was born December 19, 1928 in rural Custer County to John R. and Harriet (Southard) Ostrand. He was married to Yvonne Dobesh. Ted is survived by his wife Yvonne of Ansley and one son David (Joan) Ostrand of Omaha, one grandson Karl (Julie) Ostrand of Cape Town, South Africa, and two great granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son John, and a brother Jack. Memorials are to the Christian Life Center in Broken Bow or the Ansley Rescue Unit.
