Adrian R. Jensen

Adrian Ryan Jensen, age 37, passed away in Chadron, NE on October 19th, 2017. Adrian was born to Patty and Roland Jensen on May 30, 1980 in Broken Bow, NE.  Adrian grew up in the Dunning and Mullen area. He graduated from Mullen High School in 1998 and completed his Automotive Technician Degree at Southeast Community College in Milford. Adrian married Lori Brost on July 27, 2002 and to this union, four children were born; Kaitlyn (15), Jason (12), Tyler (11), and Carter (4). Adrian was a well known mechanic working at Miskimins Motors and Eagle Chevrolet in Chadron, NE, before starting his own business, Jensen Repair, in 2012. Adrian’s favorite pastime was spending time with his family. He was very proud of his family and made time to support them in their activities; watching them in football, softball, basketball, baseball games, and concerts.  He was an avid Cornhusker fan and took his sons Jason and Tyler to their first Husker game this fall. Adrian’s daughter, Kaitlyn, was a familiar face at Jensen Repair, helping out in the office making the business a family business. Adrian’s youngest son, Carter, was his little side-kick who enjoyed going on adventures.  The whole family enjoyed tanking trips down the Middle Loup River, summer camping trips to the lake where Adrian shared his love of water sports with his children, and just spending time together at their home. Adrian will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Adrian is survived by wife, Lori; children Kaitlyn, Jason, Tyler, and Carter Jensen of Chadron, NE; parents, Patty and Mitch Glidden, of Mullen, NE; brother, Christopher Jensen and family of Mullen, NE; mother-in-law, Diana Brost of Mullen, NE; Grandmothers-in-law Betty Staal of Chadron, NE,  and Margie Brost of Harrison, NE; brother-in-law Nick (Ashley) Brost and family of Bartley, NE, sister-in-law Kelli (Trent) Walz and family of Callaway, NE; Uncles Ron (Lou) Jensen of Chadron, NE, Herb (Shirley) McMullen of Anselmo, NE, Richard (Cheryl) Glidden of Benkelman, NE, John (Karen) Glidden, Andy Glidden, Jim (Barbie) Glidden all of Ainsworth, NE; aunts--Betty Day of North Platte, NE, Lucille Beck of Des Moines, IA, Helen (Ambrose) Padroza of Columbus, NE, Coleen (Richard) Murphy of McCook, NE, Debra (Griff) Carfield of Lebanon, NE, Diane (Steve) Lickliter of Alliance, NE, Jaci (Mike) Peterson of Wisert, NE; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends. He is preceded in death by father, Roland; father-in-law, Dan Brost; Grandparents Ted and Alberta Jensen, Arthur and Mary McMullen, Jim and Norma Glidden; and Uncles Jerry McMullen and David McMullen. Visitation will be at Mullen Funeral Home Tuesday, October 24th, 2017 from 3:00-7:00 (mst), with family present from 5:00-7:00. Services will be Wednesday, October 25th, at the Mullen Methodist Church at 10 am (mst), burial to follow at Cedar View Cemetery in Mullen. A memorial has been established for the children of Adrian Jensen.  Mullen-Arnold Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
