Beverly Jean Dailey was born April 17, 1934 to Clifford J and B. Faye (Brummet) Kramer in Stapleton, NE. She attended Hoagland country school in eastern Logan County and graduated from Logan County High School in 1951. She was united in marriage to Donald Dale Dailey on August 20, 1953 at Fort Riley, Kansas. They lived on area ranches until 1976 when they moved east of Gandy on the farm where she was raised. She helped her husband on the farm and especially enjoyed taking care of the pigs they raised. In 1982 she lost her hand in a farm accident but continued to help with the farm work, with God’s help she was able to overcome her loss and except it, not letting this change her outlook on life. They semi-retired in 1996 and moved to Arnold in 2002. She was a long-time member and Sunday school teacher at Zion Lutheran Church in Arnold, NE. Beverly enjoyed crocheting making afghans for her grandchildren and Christmas stockings for all of her great grandchildren. Beverly was generous with her time volunteering for many community activities and events. Beverly and Don enjoyed camping with family and many trips to visit extended family. Beverly’s greatest joy was her large family because being an only child she always wanted a big family. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, 3 sons, Daniel (Jo) of Long Pine, Clifford (Pat) of Hyannis, Lemoyne (Rhonda) of Thedford, and daughter-in-law Becky of Arnold. 14 Grandchildren, Danielle (Cam) Palmer of Ainsworth, Dirk (Jaime) Dailey of Hartington, Dane (Kelsey) Dailey, Dustin (Mattee) Dailey all of Long Pine, Warren (Jackie) Dailey of Sundance, WY, Lara (Ben) Hager of Torrington, WY, Jeremiah (Crystal) Dailey of Johnston, Emily (Jim) Stacey of Rio Rancho, NM, Kaman (Klara) Dailey of Stapleton, Seth (Cassie) Dailey, Andrew Dailey and Matthew Dailey all of Thedford, Brock (Robin) Dailey and Lindy (Della) Dailey all of Arnold and 27 Great-grandchildren. Brother-in-law Earl (Ila) Dailey of Arnold and sister-in-law Ester Webster of North Platte and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, an infant brother, Kenneth Joe and son Alan Brock. In leu of flowers memorials are suggested to Arnold Fire Department, and Callaway District Hospital. Services Friday March 16th at 2:00 at the Arnold First Baptist Church, with a family burial prior to the service. Visitation Thursday from 10:00 – 8:00 with family receiving friends from 6-7 at the Arnold Funeral Home.
