Brandon Morse age 32 of Sargent, NE died October 16, 2022, at the Jennie M Melham Memorial Medical Center in Broken Bow.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 10:00 am at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s Catholic Church in Sargent, NE with Father Jim Hunt officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery at Sargent, NE. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 19th at 6:30 pm at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s Catholic Church. Govier Brothers Mortuary are in charge of arrangements. Brandon Glen Morse was born August 13, 1990, in Vietnam. His given name was Dam Van Thiet. His birth parents passed away when Brandon was four. Then the family of the children went to an orphanage in Song Be. Brandon was adopted at age 9 and came to his new family in Sargent, NE. He was given his forever name Brandon Glen Morse.
Brandon attended and graduated from Sargent Public Schools in 2009. Then he went onto Job Core at Pine Ridge, NE and graduated with a certificate in welding in 2010.
Brandon was united in marriage to Dinh Thi Kim Nhung on June 10, 2018. Brandon and Nhung lived briefly in Kearney, NE, then moving to a home in Sargent. They have one daughter Emily. Brandon enjoyed working at Sargent Pipe as a welder. Brandon was a member at the Assumption of the Virgin Mary’s Catholic Church in Sargent. Brandon was hardworking, caring, and kind.
Brandon is survived by his wife Nhung Morse of Sargent, daughter Emily Morse of Sargent, his parents Bruce and Kate Morse of Sargent, siblings: Laura (Cody) Kipp & Family of Sargent, Ben (Kallie) Morse & Family of Sargent, Suzie (Shawn) Timbers & Family of Rochester, MN, Anne (Jeremy) Wilke & Family of Loup City, Barry Morse of Ord, Shannon Morse of South Carolina, three brothers Dam Than, Dam Bang, Dam Minh, and a sister Dam Thin of Vietnam, mother-in-law Bong Phan, father-in-law Hong Dinh of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and many nieces and nephews.
Brandon was preceded in death by his birth parents Dam Van Cao and Luu Thi Khen.
