Dan Ray Zoerb, age 48, of Mason City, Nebraska died Wednesday August 30, 2017 in Broken Bow, Nebraska. Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 5th, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in the First Christian Church in Ansley, Nebraska with Pastor Stacey Erstrom officiating. Burial will be in the Waldheim Cemetery near Arnold, Nebraska. Visitation will be Monday September 4th, 2017, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow with family greeting friends 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. A memorial will be designated by the family at a later date. Dan Ray Zoerb was born October 3, 1968 in Callaway, Nebraska to Gary and Gail (Francis) Zoerb. He attended School and graduated in 1987 from Ansley High School. On September 29, 2012 Dan and Teena Zoerb were united in marriage. Dan owned and operated a trucking company at the time of his death. Dan is survived by his wife Teena Zoerb of Broken Bow, Ne. his parents Gary and Gail Zoerb of Arnold, Nebraska. 2 daughters Kassy Warta of Merna, Ne., and Raina Zoerb of Omaha, Ne., 3 sons Jake Warta of U.S. Army, Zach (Jessica) Zoerb of Schyuler, Ne., and Justin Zoerb of Mason City, Ne., 2 grandchildren Aiden, and Bella, 3 Step children Cassie, Noah, J.D., 1 step grandchild Novah. Two brothers Dean (Julie) Zoerb of Minden, Ne., and Dale (Linda) Zoerb of Litchfield, Ne., and his grandmother Doris Zoerb of Kearney. Dan was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, maternal grandparents, 1 aunt and 1 uncle.
