Dennis Worth

Dennis M. Worth, age 77 of Merna, Nebraska passed away December 19, 2021, at the Jennie Melham Hospital in Broken Bow. A Memorial service will be held Thursday Dec 23, at 2 p.m. at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow with Pastor Kathy Salts PMA officiating. Burial will be in the Merna Cemetery with Military Honors. Memorials may be made to Merna Fire & Rescue. Govier Brothers Mortuary are in charge of arrangements. An online guest book may be signed at www.govierbrothes.com. Dennis was born April 27, 1944, in Broken Bow, Ne to Claude P. and Margaret (Simonson) Worth. Dennis attended School and graduated from Merna High School in 1962. Dennis served in the United States Army from 1963 to 1966, with 2 years in Viet Nam. Dennis worked for the county, the railroad, however most of his years were known working at Central Nebraska Diesel. Dennis was a very talented mechanic. Dennis enjoyed fishing, coffee visits with his many friends, and tinkering on many projects. Dennis is survived by his son Michael Worth of Broken Bow, NE, daughter Kristina (Jim) Lech of Elyria, NE, two grandchildren Kassidy (Craig0 Wachter Pierce, NE and Sam Lech of Elyria, NE two great grand children Braxton and Josie Wachter. Dennis was preceded in death by his two brothers Dick Worth and Jim Worth.
