Dorothy P. Squier, age 96, of Broken Bow, Ne died Friday January 12, 2018 at the Regional Hospital in Kearney, Ne. Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 17, 2018 at 10 a.m. in the Evangelical Free Church in Broken Bow, Ne with Pastor Tim Peterson officiating. Burial will be in the Gates Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday January 16th 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials may be offered to the Gideon’s, Evangelical Free Awana, or M.O.P.S. Dorothy Squier is survived by 2 sons Garry (Carol) Squier of Merna, Ray (Connie) Squier of Broken Bow, 2 daughters Bonnie (Kent) Myers of Eddyville, and Kay (Dave) Reimer of Meade, KS 12 grandchildren, 40 great grand children, and 4 great great grandchildren, 1 sister Lois Neidt of Kearney. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a grandson David, and 5 brothers. Dorothy was born February 25, 1921 in Grand Island,, Nebraska to James Lee and Pearl (Houts) Millsap. On March 2, 1941 Dorothy married Reuben Squier and they farmed and ranched in the Lillian, Gates, and Milburn communities.
