North Platte, NE – Ethan J. Pohlmeier age 22, of Mullen died Friday, September 14, 2018, at the Great Plains Health Center in North Platte.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at 10:30 AM at the Sandhills Community Bible Church in Mullen with Pastor Bob Teters officiating. Ethan Jeffrey Pohlmeier age 22, was born September 7, 1996, to Marcia Roman and Jeffrey Pohlmeier in Columbus, NE. He tragically left this earth to join our Heavenly Father on September 14, 2018.
Ethan attended school in Fullerton and Grand Island, NE, before moving to Mullen, NE with his mom and step-dad Ronald Roman, brother Isaac, sisters, Keragan and Langston. Shortly after moving, his baby sister Mia was born.
Ethan was a humble, kind, loving young man with the most contagious smile. He loved the Lord, his family and friends dearly. He would help anyone in need, including giving food to the hungry people on the streets. Numerous people have commented on him being their first friend at the different schools and how he was always there for them.
In High School, he played football and loved wrestling under Coach Mo. He enjoyed going to Youth Group with Tony and his Uncle Paul and just being with his family and hanging out with all his friends especially watching the Nebraska Cornhuskers or New England Patriots football games and the Oklahoma Thunder Basketball games. He comes from a sport loving family.
He was currently employed at Linden Court in North Platte, where he worked as a Dietary Aide. He loved the residents and staff as much as they loved him.
Ethan is survived by his mother and father, Marcia and Ronald Roman, his father, Jeffrey Pohlmeier, brother, Isaac Welch, sisters Keragan Welch, Langston Roman and Mia Roman. As well as other siblings, Anthony and Austin Roman, Kallan, Kaden and Kaleb Pohlmeier, Aunts, and Uncles; Paul and Debra Daly, Nancy Innes, Mike Galliart, Michael and Tammy Bloebaum, Rene Roman Jr., Rudy Roman, Mildy Regueiro and Jennifer Pohlmeier, Grandparents Rene and Rosa Roman.
Ethan is proceeded in death by grandparents, Harold and Ruby Bloebaum, David and Collette Pohlmeier.
