Broken Bow, NE  Harriet M. McKenney age 89 of Broken Bow died Saturday January 27, 2018 at the Broken Bow Care and Rehabilitation in Broken Bow. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 31, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow with Pastor Todd Karges officiating.  Burial will be at 3:00 PM at the Newport Cemetery at Newport, Nebraska.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Govier Brothers Mortuary.  Memorials are suggested to the family. Harriet was born on June 21, 1928 at Shickley, NE to Leonard and Esther Swanson Anderson. Harriet was married to Albert McKenney on December 22, 1946.   Harriet is survived by her sons Leonard Gene (Lynna) McKenney of Broken Bow, John (Glady) McKenney of Vaughn, MT, daughter-in-law Barb McKenney of Ord, 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Albert, son Rick, daughter Ellen, 4 brothers, 1 sister.
