Jackie Findley passed peacefully in her sleep with her daughters and family by her side at home in Falls City, NE on February 24, 2025.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow, NE. Burial will follow in the Ansley Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Family. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Govier Brothers Mortuary. Govier Brothers Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Jacqueline “Jackie” Ellen Findley was born in Broken Bow on December 13, 1963, to Robert and Clysta (Price) Brott. Jackie attended Broken Bow High School and continued on to receive her cosmetology degree, her CNA, and Med aid license.

Jackie lived most of her life in Nebraska with a few short years in Texas. She obtained many jobs in her lifetime from over the road trucking, to construction, and to being a nurse.

Jackie met her late husband Darren Findley in 1979 and later married on June 5, 1987. While fostering over 50 kids Jackie also helped raise her stepson, Kevin Findley. Together they adopted their four daughters, Maeda, Michelle, Brandi, and Jazmyn.

Jackie enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She adored her grandkids. She loved being on the water whether it be tubing, jet skiing, or on the boat. Sometimes you could even catch her in a paddle boat with her best friend Mary and her sister.

Jackie is survived by her children Maeda Findley (significant other Robert) daughter Adeline of North Platte, Michelle Findley (significant other Wesley) daughter Hadleigh of Worms, Brandi Findley (significant other Ian) daughter Aiyana of Lincoln, and Jazmyn Findley of Falls City, sister Catherine Brott Dehart of Berwyn, brothers Everett (Peggy) Brott Ord, and Scott (Sherri) Brott of Kearney, and many other family and friends.

Jackie was preceded in death by her late husband Darren Findley, stepson Kevin Findley, and unborn child, her parents Robert and Clysta Brott and grandparents.
