Jacqueline “Jackie” Licking

Jackie Licking age 87, passed away February 6, 2021 at Pioneer Memorial Rest Home in Mullen, NE where she was a resident.
Jackie was born December 8, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois, Jackie was one of six children, born to Roy and Evelyn (Gibner) Johnson. At age 17 Jackie and three of her girlfriends made their way out to the Sandhills of Nebraska. They would go to the dances, and that is where she met and married Paul Licking.
Jackie was married to Paul Licking on February 21, 1952 at Broken Bow. The couple made their home just south of Seneca. To this union were born five children. Daughter Pauline “Punkin” Brown, sons Jimmy “Jim”, Thomas “Tom”, Jester “Jess”, and Phillip “Flip” Licking.
Jackie was preceded in death by her husband Paul, brothers Allen and Kenneth Johnson, Sister Helen Aggus, her parents, in-laws, several brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
Jackie is survived by her brother Richard Johnson, sister Patricia Michuda, children Pauline (Royce) Brown, Jim Licking, Tom (Rose) Licking, Jess (Bobbie) Licking, and Flip Licking, grandsons Brian and Kevin Hulquist, Richard, Timmy, and Roger Licking, Jeremy Licking, granddaughters Amy and Adrienne Licking, Kellie Murray, and Kate Dailey, 11 great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 15, 2021 at 10:00 am MT at the Seneca Auditorium in Seneca, NE with Pastor Ben Eickhoff and Nat Warren officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery in Seneca. Memorial are suggested to the American Heart Association in memory of Jackie. Visitation will take place on Monday, February 15th from 8:00 to 10:00 am MT at the Seneca Auditorium. Govier Brothers Mortuary of Arnold/Broken Bow/Mullen are in charge of arrangements.
