James "Jim" R Sintek

James “Jim” R Sintek age 64, formerly of the Ansley area, passed away January 24, 2019, at his home in Kearney, NE.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at 1:00 PM, at the Ansley United Methodist Church in Ansley, NE with Pastor Jim Koontz officiating. Burial will be in the Ansley Cemetery in Ansley, NE.  A registration book will be available for signing on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at Govier Brothers Mortuary from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Jim was born December 8, 1954, in Broken Bow, NE to Arleigh L. & Judith (Porter) Sintek.   Jim graduated from Ansley High School and then attended Chadron State College and Kearney State College.  Jim enjoyed working for Broadfoot Sand and Gravel for over 30 years.  Jim loved his family and enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren’s sports and activities.  Jim loved the outdoors, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He also enjoyed cooking and made a terrific prime rib.

Jim is survived by sons Chris (Cory) Sintek of Bennington, NE, Mike (Jennifer) Sintek of Elkhorn, NE, daughter Becky Sintek of Omaha, NE, five grandchildren, Brody, Carter, Morgan, Ty, Camden, and brother Dave Sintek of Mason City, NE.

Jim is proceeded in death by his parents.
