Jenna Duda age 34 of Broken Bow, NE passed away March 7, 2022, at the Jennie M Melham Memorial Medical Center in Broken Bow.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 14, 2022, at 10:00 am at the Arnold Baptist Church in Arnold, NE with Pastor Irv Jennings officiating. Burial will be in the Tallin Cemetery. A visitation will take place on Sunday, March 13th from 1:00 – 5:00 pm at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow, NE. Govier Brothers Mortuary are in charge of arrangements. Jenna Jean Duda accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized December 11, 2005, at the Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Broken Bow.

Jenna’s first-born son Traven Duda April 8, 2008, and second born daughter Rain Duda December 10, 2013. Jenna was married August 28, 2020.

Jenna had a love for horses, when she was young, she was the happiest on the back of a horse, the faster the better. The only way to get her off a horse was to wait till she fell asleep. Jenna loved to compete in Barrel racing, Jenna was active in 4-H, open horse shows and Jr. Rodeos, competing in barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, and halter horses, where she won many trophies and belt buckles. Jenna also competed at the State 4-H Horse shows multiple times, as well as high school and amateur rodeos.

In high school she was very active in sports, band, and choir, in sports she played Volleyball, Basketball, and Track, she was multi-Conference champ in the Shot-put setting the school record with a throw of 41’ 10 1/4” which still stands today.

After high school Jenna continued her love for fast horses, competing in 4-D Barrel races as well as rodeos. She also loved playing co-ed softball, sand volleyball. Jenna was also active with the Pantomime players doing different skits. Jenna loved the Beatles, Nirvana, “I Love Lucy”, to cook, she was driven, goal oriented, taking her kids to the river, camping, and dirt road cruising, she took pride in everything she did. Jenna was a person that would protect the ones she loved with everything. Jenna was her sibling’s biggest fan in all their activities.

Jenna was a free spirit and bright light. She had a singing voice like no other. She had a fierce love for her kids, family, and animals. Especially her dog’s Decimus, Koda, and Cooper.

Jenna touched many lives with her vibrant personality at work and at play.

Jenna is survived by wife Jenny Duda of Broken Bow, son Traven Duda of Broken Bow, daughter Rain Duda of Broken Bow, mother Julie (Jerry) Jacobson of Arnold, father Scott (Jane) Duda of Broken Bow, brother Jake Duda of Deadwood, SD, half-brothers Lathan Duda of Broken Bow and Colton Duda of Broken Bow, half-sister Madison Wells of Arnold, and Grandmother JoAnn (Gleo) Warner.

Jenna was preceded in death by two maternal grandparents, and one paternal grandpa.
