Jeri Predmore

Jeraldean (Jeri) Predmore age 77 of Loup City passed away Friday, May 7, 2021 at Bryan LGH West in Lincoln surrounded by loved ones.

Jeraldean Barbara McKnight Predmore was born July 14, 1943 at her family home in Sargent.  As a child she lived in several states; but settled in Broken Bow where she graduated in 1962.

On June 16, 1962 she married Gary Predmore in Sargent, Nebraska and they became parents of two children, Robby Gene, and Pamela Verleen.

During their early married life, they lived in the rural areas of Anselmo and Merna where she worked for Becton Dickinson & Co.  When they relocated to Gothenburg, she worked at Peterson’s Grocery Store and then opened her own upholstery shop that she took with her when they moved to Sargent in 1980.  In 2000 they were transferred to Holdrege where she worked at The Connection Call Center until she retired in 2008. 

Jeri enjoyed sewing, reading, watching TV, and online shopping.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family.  She lived for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She is survived by son Rob (Teresa) Predmore of Lincoln; daughter Pam (Mitch) Becker of Rockville; grandsons Matt (Andrea) Mulkey of Lincoln and Tyler Mulkey (Courtney Debarge) of Lake Charles Louisiana; Derrick (Kelsi) Becker of Loup City; Will Becker (Meredith Cain) of Lincoln; two great granddaughters, Olivia and Isabelle Mulkey of Lincoln; three great grandsons, Ruger, Rhett, and Ryker Becker of Loup City; one brother Chuck McKnight of Grand Island, one sister Betty Grim of Columbus; one sister-in-law, Joyce Meyers of O’Neill;  two nieces Jeanne (Frank) Andelt of Lincoln, Tammy (Chuck) Lovitt of Columbus; three nephews Lonnie (Barb) Allison of Kearney, Todd Meyers of O’Neill, and Cortney Grim (Kathy Lovitt) of Lingle Wyoming;  as well as numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Gary Predmore, parents Slim and Elaine Allison and Charles McKnight, parents-in-law Rufus and Bula Predmore; one sister Eleanor Pederick, two bothers-in-law Roland Pedrick and Gene Meyers, and two nieces Kathy Pedrick and Heather Greene. 

Funeral service will be Friday, May 14, 2021 at 10:30 am at the Church of Christ in Sargent, NE with Rev. Wayne Hasselquist officiating. Burial will be in the West Union Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation. Visitation will be Thursday, May 13th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Church of Christ in Sargent.
