Johnny Wolzen

Johnny L. Wolzen, age 60, of Broken Bow, Nebraska died Monday June 12, 2017 at the Nebraska Heart Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska.   Funeral services will be held Saturday June 17th at 10 a.m. at the Gates Gymnasium in Gates, Nebraska with Pastor Jeff Perry officiating. Burial will be in the Gates Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday June 16th at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. with family present from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.   John Wolzen is survived by his wife Charlene Wolzen of Broken Bow, 2 daughters Sherry (Chad) Nelson of Litchfield, Ne., and Sandra Wolzen of North Platte, Ne., 2 step sons Jeff (Bobbie) Carriker of Hastings, Ne.,  Jon Carriker of Omaha, Ne., and step daughter Jessie (Eric) Cunningham of Olathe, Ks., 8 grandchildren, his parents; DeWayne and Marilyn Wolzen, 3 sisters Linda (Nick) Knickelbein, of Roseland, Ne., Peg (Dave) Henne of McCook, Ne., and Colleen (friend Neil) Cherry of Grandview, Ok.,  several nieces and nephews who loved him.   John was preceded in death by his grandparents and infant grandchild.
