Judy Hazen

Judy Kay Hazen, age 76, of Omaha, NE (formerly of Merna, NE) passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022.

Life without Judy, her smiles and contagious laughter, will not be the same, but the reassurance that she is free of pain, illness, and restraints, brings comfort to those missing her dearly. Judy dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family and her legacy lives on in those she leaves behind – four loving and spirited children – Roxanne Stowers and two granddaughters, Danielle and Alexandra (Lincoln, NE); Melody Hazen (Chicago, IL); Justin (Christin) Hazen and granddaughter, Mary Grace (Aurora, CO); and Melissa (Monte) Goodwin (Omaha, NE); a sister, Donna (Darrel) Sybrant (Broken Bow, NE), and many dear family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Herzel and Evelyn (Smith) Thompson, and brother Charlie (Ruth) Thompson.

Memorial graveside services will be Saturday, July 9, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at Merna Cemetery. A Celebration of Life luncheon will follow the Graveside service at the Merna Community Center in Merna, NE.
