Karen Derr

Karen Sue Derr, 61, of Geneva, Nebraska, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018 after a long fought illness. Born November 14, 1956 in North Platte, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late Elver Anderson and Eula Faye Anderson of Broken Bow, NE. Karen enjoyed crocheting, cats, and dogs. She loved having large gardens and several flower beds. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Anna Sedersten and husband, Gabe of Sutton, NE, and her son Andrew Derr and his wife, Kim of Friend, NE; six grandchildren, Riley, Kaylee, Elizabeth, Sophia, Nathaniel, and Breauna; and her sister Connie White. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Broken Bow Township Cemetery in Broken Bow, NE with Pastor Michelle Kanzaki officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Family at 297 378th Road, Friend, NE 68359.
