LaLoni Lorraine Vas

LaLoni Lorraine Vas, 62, of Ansley, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the Jennie M. Melham Memorial Medical Center in Broken Bow.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the Govier Brother Mortuary Chapel with J.J. White officiating. A reception will follow at the Ansley Community Church. LaLoni was born on September 18, 1962, in Portland, Oregon to Royce and Carolyn (Hyde) Bunner. She grew up in Portland, Kearney, and Grand Island. She graduated from Mesa High School in Mesa, Arizona.

LaLoni was united in marriage to Joseph Vas on July 29, 1995, in Ansley. They made their home in Ansley where they owned and operated Absolute Plumbing.

She loved to crochet and sew along with spending time with Joe and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Joe; children, Jennifer Vas, Andrew (Stephanie) Vas, Kylee Warner, Caelin (Ayriana) Vas; grandchildren, Axel and Asher Vas, Adeigh and Abram Warner and Ryatt Vas; and her father, Royce Bunner.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Bunner.
