Larry "Tuffy" Winberg

Broken Bow, NE- Larry “Tuffy” Winberg age 75 of Broken Bow died July 1, 2017 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.    A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday July 6, 2017 at 10:30 AM at the One Box Convention Center in Broken Bow. Burial will be in the Custer Center Cemetery west of Broken Bow.  A visitation will be held on Wednesday July 5, 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow with the family greeting friends 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Govier Brothers.  Memorials are suggested to the Custer County Fairgrounds or the Nebraska High School Rodeo or to the family.   Larry was born on June 18, 1942 i to Russell and Marcella (Coral) Winberg.  Larry was married to June Ferguson on May 16, 1965.   Larry is survived by his daughter, Tricia (Scott) Trumbley of Lincoln, his son, Travis (Janel) Winberg of Hazard, NE, grandchildren; Lexi & Jaryd Trumbley and Aaron, Michael, & Jesse Winberg, brothers; Ron Winberg of Idaho and Bob (Ann) Winberg of Sherman Lake, sisters; Dorothy (Albert) Mandeville of Texas and Pat Gottschalk of Sherman Lake.   He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife June.
