Lyle Coleman

Broken Bow, NE – Lyle Coleman age 70 of Broken Bow, NE passed away October 15, 2023, at Jennie M Melham Memorial Medical Center in Broken Bow.

Funeral Services will be Friday, October 20, 2023, at 10:30 am at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow. Burial will follow in Cliff Table Cemetery located West of Merna. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 19th from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm with family greeting 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Govier Brothers Mortuary. Govier Brothers Mortuary are in charge of arrangements. Lyle Dean Coleman was born July 25, 1953, in Broken Bow, NE to Donald and Jennie (Lepant) Coleman. Lyle grew up in the Broken Bow area, graduating from Broken Bow High School in 1972. Lyle married Cindy Main in Broken Bow. The couple made their home in Broken Bow. To this union two daughters were born Amy and Holly. Lyle worked for Jim Coleman farming, then later he went to work for Adams Land & Cattle working as a feed truck driver retiring in 2012.

Lyle enjoyed gardening, mowing, tinkering in the garage, and working on old tractors. Lyle’s pride and joy was his grandsons.

Lyle was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Jennie.

Lyle is survived by his daughters Amy Coleman of Broken Bow, and Holly Coleman of Broken Bow, three grandsons Tristan Baburek, Teaghan Leverington, and Travin Wright, and sister Connie (Joe) Dembowski of Grand Island.
