Marian Anderson age 89, of Broken Bow, NE passed away on January 2, 2019, at Brookestone View in Broken Bow, NE.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2019, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow, NE. A graveside memorial service will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019, at 2:00 PM in the Tekamah Cemetery in Tekamah, NE. Govier Brothers are assisting the family with funeral arrangements. Marian was born May 22, 1929, in Tekamah, NE to Francis and Rebecca (Christopher) Taylor.

Marian is survived by son David (Sandra) Pierce of Lebanon Junction, KY, six grandchildren Dani Steggall of Broken Bow, NE, Sara Fiedler of Grand Island, NE, Jason Gates of Broken Bow, NE, Amber Jones of Houston, TX, Matthew Heartfield of Salt Lake City, UT, Tyler Heartfield of Houston, TX, numerous great-grandchildren, brother Frank Taylor of Wichita, KS, sister Orla Mae Deason of Maplesville, AL, and son-in-law Dana Gates of Broken Bow, NE.

Marian is preceded in death by her husband Earl Anderson, daughters Pam Gates and Cindy Heartfield, parents Francis & Rebecca Taylor, and a great-grandson Evan Horine.
