Marilyn Emajean Harwager

Arnold, NE- Marilyn E. Harwager age 83 of Arnold died July 8, 2019, at the Callaway Good Life Care Home where she had been a resident for the last 12 years.

Memorial graveside services will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019, at 11:00 AM at the Arnold Cemetery at Arnold, NE with Pastor Rick Johnson officiating.  Burial will be in the Arnold Cemetery. Arnold Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.  In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials go to the Callaway Good Life Center.  Online condolences may be left at www.govierbrothers.com

Marilyn Emajean Harwager was born on June 2, 1936, to Leo and Florence (Whipple) Harwager at Callaway, NE.  Marilyn attended school at the Hall Country School.  She helped her mother cook on the ranch.  Marilyn lived with her mother until she passed away.  Marilyn then lived with her brother and sister-in-law Jack and Lavon Harwager for 23 years.  Marilyn became a resident of the Callaway Good Life Center in 2007. 

Marilyn was baptized in the Arnold United Methodist Church as a young lady.  She loved to babysit her nieces and nephews.  She also enjoyed her flowers and gardening.

Survivors include her brothers; Bill Harwager of Arnold, Jack (Lavon) Harwager of Arnold, her sister, Donna (Jim) Story of Stapleton, sister-in-law Anita Harwager of Stapleton and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Dan and Dean Harwager and her sister-in-law Karen Harwager.
