Nellie May

Broken Bow, NE – Nellie May age 94 of Broken Bow died Thursday December 21, 2017 at the Brookestone View Care Home in Broken Bow.   Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 23, 2107 at 2:00 PM at the United Methodist Church in Broken Bow with Pastor Todd Karges officiating.  Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery.  Govier Brothers Mortuary of Broken Bow is in charge of the arrangements.  A visitation will be held on Friday evening 4 PM to 8PM at Govier Brothers Mortuary with the family greeting friends 5 PM to 7 PM at Govier Brothers.  Memorials are suggested to the United Methodist Church for the Upper Room Devotionals.    Nellie was born on March 11, 1923 at Berwyn, NE to Wilhelm J. and Carrie Mae (McCullough) May.  She was married to Dale May on May 27, 1946.   Survivors include her son Roger (Verla) May of Goddard, KS and a daughter Linda (Gene) Houser of North Platte, 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.  She is also survived by two sisters-in-law; Marvella May and Jeanette Graf.
