Peggy Bostron

November 30, 1941 — February 14, 2023

Margaret “Peggy” Bostron, 81 years of age, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, February 14th, 2023, at home with family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, February 20th, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. mountain time at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mullen, NE with Father Matthew Nash officiating. Burial will be in the Cedarview Cemetery. A Visitation will be held Sunday, February 19th, 2023, from 1:00 p.m.to 4:00 p.m. mountain time, with family greeting 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Mullen Funeral Home. A Rosary will take place at 6:00 p.m. mountain time at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mullen, NE. Govier Brothers Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Peggy was born November 30th, 1941, in North Platte, NE to the late Bill and Betty Macke. She was one of six children. Peggy grew up and graduated from St. Agnes Academy in Alliance, NE. She began her future career by attending Grand Island Beauty School and earning her License of Cosmetology. She worked 60 plus years in her own beauty shop and “loved” all of her ladies.

Peggy married the late Larry Bostron on January 4th, 1964, and to this union two daughters were born. Peggy and Larry made their home in Mullen, NE and ran two hometown businesses.

Peggy loved spending time with family and friends, laughing, and always wore a smile on her face. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She always thought of others first.

Peggy is survived by her daughters, Lyn (Bryan) Crisp and Brenda (Tod) Shepherd, four grandchildren, Tanner (Katie) Crisp, Lauren Hollenbeck (Cody Kostman), Ryan and Landon Shepherd, three great grandchildren, Riggin Hollenbeck, Kinley and Kyla Crisp, sister, Jean Macke, and brother, Jim (Michelle) Macke. Along with several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Bostron, parents, Bill and Betty Macke, brothers, Bob and Bill Macke, and sister, JoAnn Macke.

Memorials can be made to Cedarview Cemetery, Mullen Angel Project, and Donor’s choice.
