Phyllis Phillips

Whitman, NE- Phyllis N. Phillips age 85 of Whitman, died March 8, 2023 at the Country Side Care Home in Gordon.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 15, 2023 at 11:00 AM Mountain Time at the Mullen Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Teters officiating.  Burial will be in the Whitman Cemetery.  Govier Brothers Mortuary of Mullen is in charge of the arrangements.  A visitation will be held on Wednesday morning 9:00 AM until service time at the Mullen Funeral Home. 

Phyllis Nola Phillips was born on May 11, 1937 at Paxton, NE to Austin and Wanda (Larreau) Coleman.  The family lived at various places while Phyllis was growing up.  She graduated from Archer, NE High School. 

Phyllis married Daniel “Danny” Phillips in 1961.  They made their home on the ranch north of Whitman for many years.  Danny died unexpectedly in 1982.  After Danny’s death Phyllis moved several times before returning to the ranch.  She moved to the Country Side Care Home in Gordon a couple of years ago. 

Phyllis is survived by her son Dwight of Whitman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her three brothers Clyde, Walt, and Vance.
