#30 has crossed the finish line and received the checkered flag.
Ronald D Slingsby was born January 26th, 1947, in Broken Bow Nebraska. Ron enjoyed life to the fullest as husband, dad, grandad, great-grandad, friend, mentor, Golden Glove boxer, motocross racer, and blue-collar worker.
He was proud to be from Nebraska. He is our hero and a giant in our eyes. He disciplined us, loved us, and supported us. He was not a man who straddled the fence in any of his dealings. We believe we had the best dad God could have ever given us.
