Rose Ann Goodman age 97 of Broken Bow, NE passed away September 28, 2022, at the Jennie M Melham Memorial Medical Center in Broken Bow,

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 3, 2022, at 2:00 pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Broken Bow, NE with Father Jim Hunt officiating, with a Rosary to be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 3, 2022. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 3, 2022, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at Govier Brother Mortuary in Broken Bow. Rose Ann Goodman was born August 1, 1925, in Valley County, Nebraska to Pete and Sophie (Cwanek) Kochanowski. Rose Ann attended country school and then graduated from Burwell High School in 1943. Rose Ann worked for Ben Franklin’s, McDonald’s Department Store and Arrow Seed during the years. She was a long-time member of the Broken Bow Does, Rebekah’s, VFW Auxiliary, and D.A.V.

Rose Ann is survived by daughter Sharon (Dan) Tonsing of Kerrville, TX, son Dick (Charlynn) Behrends of Broken Bow, stepson Gordon (Penny) Goodman of Broken Bow, sons-in-law Marvin Coble of Broken Bow, and John Ellingson of Broken Bow, ten grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren, and three step great grandchildren.

Rose Ann was preceded in death by husbands Maynard Behrends, and Leslie Goodman, son Ronnie Behrends, daughters Janet Coble, and Diane Ellingson, her parents Pete & Sophie Kochanowski, and sisters Ella Mae Gilster and Barbara Ann Kosmicki.
