Vicki J. (Dyer) Boldt

Vicki J. Dyer Boldt, daughter of Dale and Betty (James) Dyer was born in Alliance, Nebraska on January 3, 1950.  She passed from this life on October 19, 2022.

She was baptized, confirmed and a member of Calvary Episcopal Church.  Vicki grew up on her parents’ ranch south of Whitman, NE; graduate Hyannis High School in 1968; attended Hastings College; CE School of Commerce and the University of Nebraska Omaha.  Her love of flying lead her to her first job as a United Airlines flight attendant based in Chicago.  In 1971 she was united in marriage to Gary Boldt.  They lived and worked in Omaha until retiring to Hyannis, NE.  Vicki spent the majority of her working career at Creighton Memorial Saint Joseph Hospital in Omaha. 

Upon returning home in retirement to the Sandhills of Nebraska, Vicki learned to golf, loved camping, gardening, and traveling.  The Gulf Coast was her favorite winter destination.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Betty (James) Dyer; sister, Cynthia Dyer Burgess; grandparents, George and Freda (Morris) Dyer; Hank and Jessie (Neumeyer) Applegarth; aunt, Joanne Froshiesar.  She is survived by her husband, Gary; brother Doug Dyer (Penney); nieces Joslyn and Erin Dyer; stepchildren, Gary Boldt, Jr., and Debra Wagner (Deon); Step-grandsons Kevin Boldt (Elizabeth), Brook Wagner (Courtney); step-great granddaughter Logan Sky Boldt; aunt Teresa Haney (Harold), along with other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at the Calvary Episcopal Church, 302 E. Highway 2, Hyannis, NE 69350 with Pastor Cheryl Harris officiating.
