Virginia Geiser

Virginia Leila Brown Geiser, age 99, of rural Arnold, Nebraska, was born on October 21, 1923, to Earle Wayne and Leila Downey Brown, the youngest of four children. She entered into eternity on March 3, 2023.

Virginia graduated from Arnold High School in 1942. She married Elmer (Bub) Geiser on October 3, 1943. They celebrated over 69 years together until Bub passed in 2013.

Most of their married life was spent farming and ranching in the sandhills. To this union was born Terry, Rodney, Paula, Greg, Deb, and Doug. Rodney passed shortly after birth.

Virginia is survived by her five children and their spouses, 20 grandchildren, 21 (+2 arriving soon) great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 11:00 am at the United Methodist Church in Arnold, NE. Burial was in the Arnold Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Arnold Fire and Rescue or Donor’s Choice. Govier Brothers Mortuary of Arnold are in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be left at www.govierbrothers.com.
