Wave Valene Price

Wave Valene Price age 100, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at the Broken Bow Care and Rehabilitation Center in Broken Bow, NE.

Wave was born January 11, 1918, in Custer County to Charles and Anna (Sturdevant) Freeman. Wave’s father died in an automobile accident when she was 3 years old. Her mother later married James Orvis.

Wave graduated from Milburn High School in 1935. She then went to Business School in Grand Island, NE.

Wave married Marvin Price in Smith Center, Kansas on December 30, 1937.

Wave is preceded in death by her husband Marvin in 1990, parents, step-father, a nephew, and a niece.

Wave is survived by thirteen nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Wave will be held Saturday, August 18, 2018, at 10:30 AM in Govier Brothers Chapel, with Don Schauda officiating. Burial will be in the Westerville Cemetery at 1:30 PM in Westerville, NE. Memorials will be designated to Westerville Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 17, 2018, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow, NE. Govier Brothers Mortuary are in charge of the arrangements.
