Weldon Phillip Bramer age 89 of Amherst, Ne passed away September 1, 2021, in the Bertrand Nursing Home. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at 2:00 pm at the Elk Creek Cemetery near Cumro, NE with Pastor Victor Rasmussen officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Elk Creek Cemetery or Rural Med Hospice. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 6, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow, NE. Weldon was born November 9, 1931, to Edwin and Lena (Poarth) Bramer in Eddyville, NE. He attended Tufford School thru 8th grade. Weldon worked on the family farm. On March 18, 1953, he joined the Army, he was a Medical Technician in Germany. He was honorably discharged March 18, 1955. Then on November 9, 1955, he married Naomi Pirnie, they had three sons Kyle, Ken, and Kerwin. Weldon farmed around the Mason City area, then the couple moved to Nampa, ID and worked for Meridian Wood, farmed, and had a dairy. They moved back to Nebraska around 1963, then moving to farm at Amherst in 1969 where he ran a Dairy and farmed. In his spare time, he loved to fish and collect toy tractors. Weldon is survived by his wife Naomi of Amherst, sons Kyle Bramer of Kearney, Ken (Sherry) Bramer of Amherst, and Kerwin (Jane) Bramer of Amherst, a brother of Colorado, grandchildren: Misty (Alan) Casper, Brandon (Sarah) Bramer, Brett (Ashley) Bramer, Jared (Autumn) Bramer, Kent (Laura) Bramer, Brian (Shelby) Bramer, Dustin Bramer & (friend Delanie), nine great grandchildren and he loved them all dearly. Weldon was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Lena, two brothers Wesley and Merlyin, daughter-in-law Linda Bramer, and a granddaughter Deanna Bramer.
