William "Bill" Leverington

Broken Bow, NE – William “Bill” Leverington age 74 of Broken Bow passed away on September 7, 2018, in Broken Bow.

Funeral services for William “Bill “ Leverington will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at 10:30 AM at the Church of God in Broken Bow with Pastors Doug and Cathy Saner officiating.  Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery at Callaway with Military Honors.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday morning 9:00 AM until service time at the Church of God.  Memorials are suggested to the family.  Govier Brothers Mortuary is assisting the family. 

William Burdett Leverington was born on August 11, 1944, at Broken Bow, NE to Glenard and Meredith (Pinnell) Leverington.  Bill graduated from Broken Bow High School graduating in 1963.    He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  William also worked as a truck driver. 

Mr. Leverington is survived by his siblings; Orval Leverington of Broken Bow, Kenneth (Pearl) Leverington of Grand Island, Robert Sr. (Eva) Leverington of Kennet, MO, Myrtle (Bill) Shirkey of Broken Bow, Mary Veverka of Grand Island, Larry Leverington of Broken Bow, Jannie (Steve) Parker of Lincoln, and Glenard James Leverington of North Platte, a brother-in-law, John Harmon.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters; Lillian Harmon and Marjorie Newrider, and an infant sister Rosa Marie Leverington.
